Don’t let your big day become a big stress! Whether you're eloping, planning for a small Hawaii wedding, or a commitment ceremony, we have put together some quick tips to help. With feedback from our previous couples and coordinators these pointers will help ensure you are able to enjoy every part of your Hawaii destination wedding.

Be Okay Asking for Help

Is it your first time to Hawaii and not sure which ceremony location to choose? Which hotel to book? Where to have a dinner reception? Not sure if you should book a rental car? Let us know!

Although your wedding coordinators are not travel agents, they know their island home very well. We'd be happy to share some insight or offer our opinion. Even if you have never been to Hawaii before, you already have ohana (family) here to help. You can call or schedule a time for us to call you if you'd like to chat. Sometimes just getting in touch is enough to calm those nerves, and we always like talking to our couples :)

Have Guests Coming to Your Hawaii Wedding? Read This!

Posted by Glory H. on Dec 13, 2018 8:32:00 AM

If you’re eloping in Hawaii all you have to worry about is the two of you. You can relax and enjoy yourselves knowing our team will have everything in place for your special day.

If you have guests, on the other hand, you'll need to share with them information to help your day go as smoothly as possible.

Here are some of our most important tips to share with your guests.

1. Be on Time!

We can’t stress the importance of this enough. Your ceremony team is scheduled for a set time, and the last thing we want is for you to feel rushed!

Your ceremony team will arrive early and be ready to meet you and your guests at the meeting point. If your ceremony time is 12:00pm, for example, ideally you’d be set up and ready to go at that time. It’s a good idea to tell your guests they should arrive by 11:45am.

Hawaii Wedding Reception Recommendation: Signature Prime Steak & Seafood

Posted by Glory H. on Oct 11, 2018 1:56:06 PM

“I want to do dinner after my ceremony, but I don’t know where we should go. Do you have any suggestions?” It’s something we coordinators hear all the time, and I am here to provide my recommendation!

Signature Prime Steak and Seafood is my favorite restaurant for a celebratory meal for two main reasons: The view is lovely, and the food is fantastic (with that said, what more could you want?!). But for the skeptics, let me elaborate.

From the 36th floor of the Ala Moana Hotel, the views are quite beautiful.

How to Transport Your Wedding Attire to Hawaii

Posted by Lauren C. on Sep 13, 2018 11:50:39 PM

It's a question we often hear: How can I get my wedding dress to Hawaii?

While it's easier to bring the groom's wedding attire, transporting your beach wedding dress is something you need to think about. We generally have two options we recommend.

1. Carry Your Wedding Dress on the Plane

It's rare these days for the airlines to loose your luggage, but it's best to play it safe and not pack your wedding dress in your checked luggage.  We ALWAYS recommend bringing your dress on the airplane as carry-on luggage. The safest place for the dress is in your possession.

By carrying it on the plane with you, you're responsible for it arriving safely and undamaged.

If you'd like to have your dress pressed and your hotel does not offer the service, you could use Marie Louise Cleaners (808-593-1110 ). They do same day pickup and drop off, so it's very convenient. Many of our brides use their services, so we feel confident recommending them.

Make sure to schedule ahead of time to ensure they can accommodate you.
